If so, there is a choice of nine golf courses within the space of a two-to-fifteen-minute drive. Perhaps you prefer a gentler version of the game, in which case Golf Fantasia, a very well-designed mini-golf course is one option to consider.

Adults and children alike can enjoy go-karting or a visit to the Aqua land and Western Park water parks which have numerous attractions to enjoy. Marine land in nearby Portals Nous is well worth a visit for its shows, featuring dolphins, sea lions and more. If you’re a music lover, then you really must see ‘Come Fly With Me’, being presented at the neighboring resort of Magalluf. It is an extravagant Broadway-style show, offering a highly visual, artistic spectacle that features world class acrobats in the Cirque du Soleil mode, together with some wonderful Frank Sinatra classics to rekindle the mood of late-fifties America. The same production company also presents the captivating ‘Pirates Adventure’ show which is another of the Island’s well-loved classic events. Some people have seen it a dozen times or more!

Situated nearby are the lively holiday resort of Magaluf to the west and, to the east, the Island’s magnificent harbour, Port Portals, which has a decidedly up-market feel, with its luxury boutiques and award-winning restaurants. If you have guests who require accommodation, there is everything from simple Palmanova hostals to five-star luxury hotels in Palma Nova itself and within a ten-minute drive.

Palma Nova is very central and also convenient for the Island capital of Palma, 15 kilometres to the north-east but just ten minutes by car thanks to the fast motorway link. Here you will find a huge range of shops as well as leisure and cultural activities. In 15 minutes at the most, you can also reach the exclusive resort of Port d’Andratx at the south-western tip of the Island. It goes without saying that there is also a public bus service with regular connections between Palma Nova and Palma.
