Mallorca has a large selection international and Spanish schools with the majority of them located in the south west of Mallorca. All children will attend school to the age of 16 years old, in the Spanish schools this is free of charge to all that are resident in Mallorca, but parents are expected to pay for all books, it is compulsory to attend school between the ages of 6-16 in Spain. The international schools can at times have waiting lists so we strongly recommend you contact these well in advance of moving to Mallorca.
