History

The company was founded in 1925 by Mr. Daniel Steen as an upholstery and sewing workshop. It has always been known for its quality and tradition in the northern part of Hamburg. In the seventies his son, Mr. Joachim Steen also came to the company, expanding the store and the interior design concepts.


The philosophy of tradition and quality was always their basic principle. Over the years the company has maintained its name as a top-quality decoration address, also realizing projects abroad in Switzerland, the UK, Portugal, Spain among others.

In 1995 came the decision to expand abroad. Mallorca appeared to be the perfect place, especially due to a large number of German clients with a second residence on the island.

Katja Steen, the granddaughter of the founder opened the store on Mallorca and continues to offer our decoration services and consulting for the homes of our clients.

We still follow the same philosophy like 85 years ago: quality, tradition and personal service have one goal: the complete satisfaction of our clients!
